Girls flag football is no longer simply the next big thing—it has arrived, and it is here to stay. As one of America's fastest-growing sports, girls flag football is gaining tremendous national attention and becoming a sanctioned varsity sport in a growing number of states. With the NCAA recognizing women's flag football as an Emerging Sport for Women, colleges across the country are building programs and creating new recruiting and scholarship opportunities. The game is opening doors for young female student-athletes to compete at a high level, represent their schools and pursue opportunities that were not available to previous generations.
Sportz Farm is committed to helping nationalize the sport by providing girls flag football with the professional branding, quality competition, media exposure and first-class event experience it deserves. Our goal is to nurture and develop these young student-athletes while creating platforms that allow them to sharpen their skills, showcase their talent and gain meaningful exposure. Through quality tournaments across the Northeast and beyond, we want every athlete to understand that her game matters, her talent deserves recognition and her future in this sport has no limits.
Young Queens of the Turf will serve as Sportz Farm's official girls flag football tournament brand in every state and market we enter. Each tournament will carry the same recognizable name, visual identity, merchandise, professional presentation and commitment to delivering a premier experience for athletes, coaches and families. As the brand expands, each location can be identified by its host market—beginning with Young Queens of the Turf: North Carolina and Young Queens of the Turf: Atlantic City—while remaining part of one powerful national tournament platform.
Young Queens of the Turf: North Carolina will take place Saturday, November 21, 2026, in the RDU area and will welcome divisions 10U–17U for a one-day tournament featuring a four-game minimum. Teams from throughout the Northeast and across the country will come together for an exciting Thanksgiving-season event filled with elite competition, energy and exposure. The next tournament, Young Queens of the Turf: Atlantic City, will take place Saturday, March 27, 2027—the Saturday before Easter—and will be featured during Sportz Farm's annual Youth All-Star Weekend in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
With nearly 15 years of experience producing some of the country's most exciting youth sports showcases, Sportz Farm is prepared to develop Young Queens of the Turf into a premier traveling tournament series and nationally recognized girls flag football brand. No matter which state hosts the event, athletes and families will know what the name represents: quality competition, meaningful exposure, professional presentation and an unforgettable experience created specifically for the next generation of young queens.
